Before I read this, I read a few reviews and I noticed how people didn't really like the fact that there wasn't a whole lot of plot within this book. However, this didn't bother me one bit because this is a novella, and while it doesn't have any big plot scheme, I think it provides very valuable information about where all the characters stand going into the next book of the series. Also as a past fanfiction reader I am always down for a good fluffy book about my favorite characters.

So my one piece of advice is this: go into this book with an open mind. Accept it for the glorious fluffy book that it is. But also, notice the subtle clues throughout the book that start resetting the series for this next leg of the series.
