I would rate it 4.5. As always, Lu did an impressive job with this new book. Talin, the main character seems to be a combination of June and Day. I admit, a lot of things reminded me of Legend, what with the “I’m supposed to hate you but I don’t” with Red, and the tiny thread of romance Lu has written in just adds that thing to it. I would love seeing that developed in the sequel. All in all, a very well rounded book with poetic passages that anyone could appreciate.
