I was not 100% aware of Lindy West before reading this title. I requested an ARC from the publisher because I liked the sound of the book. Essays about a woman fighting for her right to exist in this world, especially as a plus-sized individual? Sign me up! West more than lived up to my expectations. I was laughing, I was pumping my fist. I loved her essays about trolls, and comedy, and what happens when you love something so much and critique it. I agree with some other commentators that the second half lags a bit more than the first, but overall, this is an excellent collection of essays about a woman whose commentary I can't wait to continue to read.
