An NB character where they just were!! I didn't even realize until a few chapters after they were introduced that they were NB; all of the characters just referred to them as they/them and it seemed natural. It was nice.

The FMC was well written and it was so interesting to not be in the know about a tactic she used until MMC noticed it. It really kind of gave her depth and told the readers/listeners something without having to spell it out.

All of the characters were great, the world building was great, the story was great. I just truly enjoyed this book.
