It took me 3 weeks to finish this fucker and wow am I glad to finally be done

This wasn’t a bad book by any means, it was fine. I was just really not in the mood to read it, but I knew that if I put it down I would never finish it. But it was at times painful to get through, and other times a very enjoyable read. The characters are definitely the best part of this, the plot is decent but predictable, but I wasn’t a fan of the main romance as much as I was in the first one. And I usually love the trope of watching a character slowly go mad and turn evil and was ecstatic to find out that’s where this was going, but I was a little underwhelmed by it in Blood & Honey and thought it needed to be more drawn out to really feel the effect

Anyways, as a whole this was fine. There was just s bunch of small things that built up over the course of 500+ pages that weren’t my favourite, but overall it was a decent sequel

Really hoping for more creepy blood witches in the third book!!
