There's so much great hockey romance out there, y'all. Why has this risen to the top? Why does this have the internet in a chokehold?

While I understand Grace's quirky "thing" is that she's from the UK and uses UK-specific shtuff in her book set at an American college, I loathed it with every fiber of my being. It was like rubbing a cat in the wrong direction. Nails on a chalk board. I also felt the same way about her writing style. I slogged through this and somehow made it to the end. It's probably saying something that I picked up Wildfire, the next book in this series, and made it FIVE PAGES IN before DNFing it.
