This was a good romance novel for a slow burn (and my god was it slow). I did enjoy how these two people came together because they actively wanted to when they were ready, willing, and able. They didn't just push past their own issues to explore their feelings, but waited until they were both sure that this was what they wanted. I loved seeing a MMC so in-touch with his feelings in a non-toxic masculine way. The MFC had her own issues to work through, and as a fellow eldest daughter I felt so seen in her thoughts and actions. It was a fantastic way to end the series. My only negative thought was that this book should've been longer so that I could live in the Bergman world for a little bit longer.
