Dukes Do It Better
by Bethany Bennett
funny
lighthearted
mysterious
slow-paced
Though this is the first of the series I have read (and it's book 3) and was a little lost at times, I still enjoyed reading it.
I wouldn't have been so lost if I had read the first 2. Those characters apparently factor big into this book but I did still enjoy the characters, especially the women.
I would really like to meet Malachi and study him further. 😉 He's a duke but also a captain and a "pirate" (he hates being called that but his description is perfect for a pirate).
Our heroine is such a devoted mother in her widowhood. Her son is precocious and sweet. He's a good judge of character.
