this book almost had me sobbing in class

i read this in one sitting (yes during class) and it's such a beautiful story about growth and self-love while also dealing with grief and loss and overall the darker parts of life

the poetry is very well written, too (at least i would say though i'm not an expert on poetry) and the ending of this book was well executed and inspiring

i enjoyed it a lot and would definitely recommend reading it but please check the trigger warnings first!
