I was browsing Libby and decided to pick the audiobook up since I heard great things about it. Also, it said it was a 2 hour listen, but I listen to audiobooks at 3x the speed because that’s the only way I can take in the story. Anyway, I finished my audiobook this morning and had to take Riot on his afternoon walk. I started this book right as we were heading out the door and finished it within 30 minutes of our 2 mile walk and we only took 39 minutes to walk the 2 miles. So, this book is short and is written in verse. I usually don’t like poetry, but I can stand in verse and I have read another profound book in verse when I was in high school called “Sold.” This book is definitely profound and is interesting to see what goes inside someone’s head for a minute with making a decision. Lastly, I really love that the author read this audiobook.
