I read the first 3 books in the 'Hades and Persephone' series in 2022 and they were easy to eat up and read. I have always been a lover of greek mythology, and after reading dark romance that is based on greek myths I need more!! I cannot wait to read book 2 in the 'Hades' saga.
Quotes:
- “How do you feel when you look at her?" "Like I was born from chaos.”
- “This was Persephone, the goddess who would be his queen, and she was everything.”
- “You must not assume you know her mind just because you have fears. Those are your demons, Hades.”
- “This was Aphrodite in her true form. The mortal world believed she was nothing more than a sexual being, that she sought entertainment and pleasure from gods and mortals alike, but the truth was she could be a vengeful god, especially toward those who betrayed love.”
- “Take her, and I will destroy this world. Take her, and I will destroy you. Take her, and I will end us all.”
Tropes:
- Age Gap
- Forbidden Love
- Enemies to Lovers
- Myth Retelling
