I was kindly sent an ARC of Escape Room by Nosy Crow, and while I'm very glad to have had the chance to read the book so early, the downside is that I have nobody I can discuss it with! 

This is a fast-paced, gripping and often creepy book, with a plot that is honestly pretty difficult to talk about without spoilers. As seems to always be the case with Christopher Edge, he has managed to fit a ton of ideas and action into less than 200 pages. For much of the book, I didn't have a clue what was going on, but I was hooked by the atmosphere and read the whole book in one sitting. 

On reflection the book felt very much like a creepy episode of Doctor Who, and that is a compliment.
