I really appreciated the unique concept of this book but it just didn't hook me in the way I was hoping it would. I listened to it on audio and found myself too often bored or disconnected from the characters. This means that when the plot did get more interesting, I wasn't emotionally connected enough to the characters. I also couldn't fully wrap my head around a couple of key elements to the story, which further impacted enjoyment.
Graphic: Sexual content
