A very cool, unique mystery set in 1920s Bombay India. The main character is a female lawyer (the first in the country) who gets involved in the lives of three purdah widows (who cannot have contact with men). This book was delightfully twisty, and Perveen was an awesome protagonist! Definitely looking forward to reading more in this series.
