This book is not for everyone, there is quite a lot of build up and at times the story can feel extremely slow. if you are up for the challenge it's extremely rewarding and the story is marvelous!!

Anne Rice is a magnificent writer!!! even when she's rescinding previous plot points, it's done in a way that makes those voicing the stories seem the unreliable narrator(s) and makes you question the motives of all that tell us the stories of vampires!!!
