The Last Chance Library by Freya Sampson
4.0

The Last Chance Library is a cozy, heartwarming, small town book about a community trying to save their library from selfish and greedy counsel members out to gain their own. That basically sums up this entire book. It is a slow burn but everything about this book was endearing and filled with a few life lessons on how to value life, family, and friendship. Every character in this book was memorable, had their own personalities, and the main character development was absolutely beautiful. I was able to laugh and cry reading this book and I honestly didn't expect to get through it as fast as I did. Not quite Lifetime and not quite Hallmark but somewhere in between. It's a bonus that this is a book about books.

This book states that the main character, June, has the same birthday as I do on June 18th. I have to admit that I kind of love that!
