The Firefly Man has been a rumor that has been going around for years by the people in a small-town of the Appalachian Mountains. Everyone thought it was just that, rumors, until one fateful night a young camper's body was found by Evelyn.
Years later Evelyn has tried to move on and has been seeing a therapist, until he disappears one night. In comes, Dr. Lincoln Reed. From the beginning Evelyn and Lincoln work through her past trauma while finding themselves falling in love.
This was a slow burn but with the mystery aspect it kept me so engaged. Lincoln kept it as professional as he couldn't until that line was crossed and then he was π₯΅ I loved Lucy and how much Lincoln loved and cared for her. She was such a bright happy spot that had me smiling every time she made an appearance.
This had me guessing the entire time and once I thought I figured everything out, a twist was thrown in and had me second guessing everything.
