Another book for the New York trip. . .
I didn't get to this during my trip, but devoured it (pun intended) last week. The rhythm of this book was wonderful--I stayed up late several nights reading. Though some of the name dropping went right over my head (let's face it, in the 80s I was not a foodie), other names just amazed me. And then the descriptions of the ood. I don't know how it's possible to eat that much!
A truly great read--and I'll have to check out her others soon.
