Hard Job
by Annabeth Albert
Rockstar Ezra is full of energy and this sometimes gets him into trouble. Hence the need for a bodyguard so he personally requests Duncan, his best friends brother, who runs a security business to accompany him for the remainder of the bands tour.
Duncan likes everything to be carefully planned and scheduled whereas Ezra doesn’t really roll that way. They manage to forge a good working relationship and soon enough the sizzling chemistry between them ignites. Their secret relationship includes lots of steamy times with sweet and tender swoon worthy moments that warmed my heart.
Due to his famous father’s philandering, Duncan could never understand what a happy and healthy relationship looked like whereas Ezra’s family experience was the complete opposite. Duncan not wanting to be in the spotlight also caused a dash of angst but honest communication meant their HEA was not going to be derailed.
This is a very enjoyable easy read that had me engaged from the very beginning. Duncan and Ezra are beautifully written characters and I finished this book with a huge smile on my face.
