Angels' Dance
by Nalini Singh
My Review:
Angels' Dance is a prequel novella to the Guild Hunter series. I had such a blast with this one. I listened to the audio in the anthology "Angels Flight" because I wanted to do this one in audio. So glad I found it. This is the story of Gaelen and Jessamy. This is a very unlikely couple. Gaelen is a gruff, broody, warrior who has come to Rafael's territory to become his weapon's master. Jessamy has been with Rafael for thousands of years, she suffers a disability with a damaged wing and hasn't ever been able to fly and is seen as less than by many of their people.
I loved their dynamic. There is such sensuality between them but I also loved the opposite of personalities that they are and how seductive their relationship develops into. And man this hero is so alpha and yummy, I couldn't get enough of him. There is some solid emotion that is displayed in this story and loved the moments we get with some of our favorite characters from the series. Like always, Nalini Singh, delivers a swoony packed novella I couldn't put down!
"Loving was only just a slow dance."
