The Rose Kiss follows Lana, and is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. It’s a solid retelling.

I like the overarching theme of the book, a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. However, it fell short in some aspects. It’s a short read, so it goes quickly. However, my copy of the book had lots of missing parts. Chapters ended in the middle of sentences, chapters started where the previous chapter was no where near. But forgetting that, the story itself was okay. I wasn’t blown away by it.

It’a not the best Beauty and the Beast retelling I’ve read, but it’s not the worst. I liked it.
