In digital ARC I received for the first three chapters I found confusing, they flipped back and forth from a previous week to the present, and there were two attempts at rereading to make sure I knew what was going on.

Overall, it was a good romance, but I had a hard time liking the Hero and Heroine, they both came off as needy, but that was the trope or the perceived trope both needed each other and until the backroom deal comes into play.

It was a quick read, but the characters for me were meh.
