The Hand on the Wall by Maureen Johnson
5.0

Stevie had me on an emotional roller coaster. I thought it was the end for her multiple times. You can tell that the author has an affinity for Agatha Christie, specifically“and then their were none.”

It so happens to be one of my all time favorite mysteries. Although, I struggle with the constant name changes. Stevie is a Saint and I love the character development. Usually young adult novels in school settings is soooo annoying to me! However, the author didn’t make Stevie unbearable. However her little “boyfriend” pissed me off several times in Nobel.

This mystery left me thinking “what happened to Alice?!” The entire time. I kept hoping for this 95 year old woman to appear and claim her 70 million although she would have been 5 years too late at that point.

Get into this mystery! The entire series! Truly devious is such a great series!!!
