2018: So here’s the deal: I really appreciate Cup speaking her truth and sharing her story. I think it highlights how terrible the foster care system can be and how dangerous addition is.
BUT
That girl got SO MANY SECOND CHANCES. And she admits it, true. But how many times do you have to fuck up and never get caught for it?! How did this girl avoid jail time her whole life? I am in particular frustrated because I know some who never got second chances and who never managed to escape jail or live long enough to do so.
I’m very happy that Cup has been able to turn her life around and I wish her the best. I also think she could have spent more time with her accomplishments and less time on the intricacies of how EXACTLY to make crack.
