Wow, definitely joining Connie Willis's previous The Doomsday Book in my favourites list.

There is so much to love about To Say Nothing of the Dog. The wonderful and hilarious cast of characters, the humour (always hard to pull off in a book), the brilliantly intricate time travel plot (as well as an expansion of the wonderfully crafted mechanics, terminology, technology and sociology of time travel established in the previous book), the many references to history and Victorian literature, and the overall story that kept me laughing and smiling the whole way through.
