Phenomenal. One of my favourite audiobooks of the year so far! I have loved Hilarie since she played Payton on One Tree Hill. She played this fierce yet complicated character who was my favourite on the show. When I found out she had written a memoir, I knew I needed to read it ASAP.

Hilarie has a way with words, and I think it is because of her love and appreciation for literature and her time as a lifelong reader. This story was so much more then I imagined it to be. I actually had tears in my eyes out on a morning walk at one point when I was listening to her story. She is so open about her struggles with pregnancy, the challenges of her marriage (or pseudo marriage to Jeff), and her experiences on set and in hollywood as a young women. I so want to visit her little town that she calls home and that Samuel's Sweet Shop sounds divine! I loved hearing about her entrepreneurial experiences there.

Hilarie is a strong woman with brains and beauty and I appreciate her talented examples as an actress, a farmer, and a homemaker for her family. And now I want to try some Dandelion Wine!
