Its cast of shallow characters whose flaws were clichés wasn't helpful in boosting my rating for this book, but the artwork was engaging.  Its composition for the craft of storytelling was fantastic.  I would have given the plot more time to unfold (being a fan of the slow-burn subgenre of horror), but apart from one awkward moment, it was a smooth delivery.
