Two Truths and a Lie by Meg Mitchell Moore
4.0

I really enjoyed Two Truths and a Lie. It is my second Meg Mitchell Moore book after enjoying The Imperfects last summer and I am going to keep reading more. I loved the writing style.

I love a good beach-town setting and Newburyport sounds like a wonderful place to live and spend a summer.

This book is written with very short chapters, which I love for two reasons: One it gives you more places to stop when you have to read in spurts. Two, you also read more because you see how short the next chapter is and it propels you to keep reading!

This book had an intriguing mystery element to it too and I am really loving that in books. I don't often need a fully-defined thriller but give me a mysterious person or situation and I am here for it! Give me some secrets, all the secrets!

I enjoyed all the female characters, especially Alexa. She's such a dynamic eighteen year old. The MomSquad was entertaining. This had mother-daughter relationships, female friendships, suburbs and secrets. It was wonderful!
