I was in a book slump and a grumpy mood and unfortunately, this book didn't fix either. It was nice to use as an escape for a while but I didn't retain much from this book. It was good enough to just be mild and fit into the crap day I was having, and for that I am appreciative. Pippa Grant writes sassy dialogue and steamy scenes, so her books seem to be a good go-to if you're in the mood for either -- or even just regular escapism.
