Story was okay, but I could have done without the offensive/problematic language. Just because it's set in the 80's, you don't need to write about doing blackface and don't even get me started on slave day. Smh. ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PLOT.
