National Geographic has found a great way to incorporate video games into educational opportunity. NatGeo’s partnership with the Angry birds is well thought out and fun while disguising its true educational intent.

The pigs have stolen the birds eggs and they are ANGRY! But before they can get their revenge on the pigs they have to find the eggs. To do this they are going to travel through 5 habitats and discover new animals and strange things along the way.

This book is so fabulous because you have a fun and funny story of the birds trying to find their eggs, mixed in with the awesome nature photos and information that you trust from NatGeo. I also love that this is a hard cover book, not a weighty tomb. Kid’s young and old alike will find this book something they want to look at and take home.
