Overall the writing was good and the story was enjoyable. It was definitely a slow burn, and I personally had a hard time feeling chemistry between the characters.

As far as I can remember, this is my first official mob/mafia romance. As firsts go, it wasn’t bad. I thought the plot was interesting, and a great set up for forced proximity and fake marriage tropes.

The chemistry was definitely present between our characters, but I wasn’t entirely sold on the steam. Overall this was a fun, quick read, and it helped me realize how much I might enjoy a full length mafia romance.
