I love Jennifer Donnelly books!
This Snow White retelling was nothing like I was expecting but I absolutely loved it! I was really worried at the start because Sophie was such a hard character for me to like but she grew so much over the course of the book.
The other characters added so much to the story as well. And the setting was so perfect and dark, it is what really made the story so great in my opinion.

And the ending ... I’m hoping that’s a hint that we’re getting lots more retelling from her going forward!
