started slow, with a learning curve

I originally started reading an abridged version of this book but I could tell pieces were missing so I jumped into this version. It took a bit of time to get adjusted to the writing style/ words since this was written so long ago. Once I was familiar with the style, the story got better. This was on my “TBR-before I die” list and I’m happy to have it marked off.
