It was definitely different, that’s for sure! David Arnold has his own unique method of storytelling and it really shows in this book, in my opinion. A book that could have been action packed and super detailed about the characters travels and survival from the Flu Flys was more about the people themselves and the things they experienced about themselves. It was more about self discovery and finding themselves and each other and learning how to live and love again in the midst of an apocalypse.

All in all I really enjoyed this one though it definitely wasn’t what I was expecting and didn’t go where I thought it would!
