Wonderful start to a new fated mates series.

This collaboration between KM Neuhold and Mia Monroe is an absolute joy to read, with a wonderful cast of main and secondary characters and an interesting and engaging plot that had me reading this in one sitting.

Dragon shifter Nico, who is a bit of a broody grump at times, is hired to protect the very sunshiny and sassy Lake from a stalker. Lake is rich, human, lives a very social life, has outstanding fashion sense, loves a bit of lace and glitter and is unafraid to be the unique person he is. With all that he still feels as if he’s never had a true sense of belonging.

Nico doesn’t realise immediately that Lake is his fated mate but there’s an almost instant attraction between them. Before long the sizzling chemistry ignites and the heat factor is set to very high as their relationship changes. Of course the stalker doesn’t give up easily but nothing can derail these two fated mates from a longed for HEA.

I loved every moment of this book which had me smiling, giggling and fanning myself at times. Not to mention the absolute cuteness factor of the “cuddle hoard”.
