I loved this book just as much the second time as the first. It’s an absolutely wonderful story.. 

I love the Gothic spooky vibes that follow Miren through this book. Honestly, I didn't remember much from the first time I read it, so I was pretty blind going into it, and the book unfolded in a way I wasn't really expecting. 

I think Slatter did an amazing job at giving you just the right amount of information throughout the book. I never felt like I was frustrated by being completely left out in the dark, but there was also just the right amount of information missing for me to still be turning pages on the edge of my seat. 

Miren is headstrong and angry, and her character surprised me more than once. I really love that she wasn't a character that I ever felt like I knew 100%. 

This novel is a journey, and I truly loved every piece of it.
