The Secret Keeper
by Kate Morton
This was my first Kate Morton book and I can tell you I will definitely be reading more!
It was a wonderfully written story that jumps between 2011 and (mainly) 1941. There are some other years mixed in as well but don’t worry it’s not confusing. Laurel wants to unravel the mystery that is her mother, what caused her to commit such a horrible crime all those years ago ...
This book was written perfectly to give you just enough information to start to form your own ideas but not enough to give it away completely. I did manage to guess how it was going to end but I still thought it was an amazing read. I loved the style and the writing, the characters were great, and I loved the tie in with the past.
Such a great read, I highly recommend it!
