I love this novel! It should come with a warning though, it's not serious historical fiction. It's fluff, chock full of romance and dialogue that doesn't really belong in the time period. If you love your characters to behave in a way that is historically accurate, maybe you should give this book a pass. If you want a fun and entertaining read, this is the way to go! The author is clearly a very well read woman and makes references to all sorts of works throughout the text. She also knows how to keep up the action and entertain the reader until the very end. I'm working my way through the series right now
