The Fling by M. Robinson
4.0

ARC received for an honest review

The Queen of Angst is back with the second installment in the Playboy Pact series,

Now, I liked Leo and Mila's story in the first book, however I liked this second installment better

Now, I will say that I wasn't sure how I was going to like The Fling after the way these guys are. Sure, they are 16 years old and cocky, but they were sooooo unlikable with their pump and dump attitude towards females. I really couldn't see how any self respecting girl or woman would go near any of them with a 20 foot pole!

Ashton was probably my least favourite of the boys as I read book one, The Kiss, however now he is up there as a favourite.

I loved the growth in Ashton as an adult, even when those around him are still acting like little boys.

I loved how Sage protects her family, even when it is to her own detriment.

I loved the ride as they fell in love.

Now, this might just be a me thing, but I feel that this series is mislabelled as a rom-com. I don't think I laughed at all with this one..

I would call it angst-light instead.

I enjoyed this story, and I liked the set up for the next book in the series, about Cain (though Sawyer's book is the one I reaaaaalllly want!)
