I think I needed to read this book exactly at the point I was reading it. The topics and methods of thinking developed and explored in this book for me completely rang true for me at a time when my body was being completely over-run by hormones and disturbing thoughts regarding body image. Glennon has such a wonderful way of writing that when you're reading this book, you feel like she is speaking to you directly so you can imagine how I felt when what she was talking about in the book in regards to society's pressures on making women feel like they have to look, act, dress a certain way to be considered a 'woman', which was exactly what I was internally debating with myself on a day to day basis. Glennon covers a whole range of topics in this book and I loved to see how her religion and sexuality shone through in every page and how she has overcome the battles with herself, her family, her friends and her community. Everyone needs a Glennon in their life, I'm just glad I have this book to fall back on when needed!
