All of the short stories in this collection are pretty good. An Exotic Marriage is EXCELLENT, which bumped this rating up to four stars. I loved Motoya’s use of the uncanny, the bizarre, and the grotesque. I feel like I especially loved An Exotic Marriage because I’ve been socially distancing with my partner since March and this fact really gave me a fresh feeling of being completely unsettled.
