Revive Me, Part Two: The Affair
by J.L. Seegars
emotional
reflective
tense
slow-paced
Plot or Character Driven:
Character
Strong character development:
Yes
Loveable characters:
No
Diverse cast of characters:
Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus:
Yes
Found myself skipping through much of the repetitive internal dialogue.
And the way the author is handling women’s deaths is quite disgraceful to me, given all the flowery language she’s capable of.
Not sure why the story is being told this way and why the Revive Me book series has turned into 3 books when it’s one book, clearly.
Will finish the series and post a complete review on that book but so far it appears that reviews for Seegers’ books are riding on the greatness of Restore Me solely.
