Okay, I blame Goodreads for the fact that my three stars seem harsh, but in reality, the rating given to this book is more like 3.5/5, or even 3.75/5. I had a great time listening to this book, but honestly, I always have a good time every time I listen to audiobooks. The story was entertaining, just the right amount of spicy and funny, with the right amount of twists and tension. One downside is that I found the story progression a bit long and the 'slow burn' a bit too slow for my taste, with little reason to be in the end.

The fact that the characters are respectively 39 and 44 years old did not bother me in the least, but on the other hand, I would have liked them to act with the maturity of their ages and experiences. Some of the situations were a bit far-fetched and the reactions inappropriate.

That said, I had a great time overall.

D'accord, je blâme Goodreads du fait que mes trois étoiles semblent sévères, mais en réalité, la note donnée à ce livre est plus 3.5/5, voire 3.75/5. J'ai passé un super moment à écouter ce livre, mais honnêtement, je passe toujours un bon moment quand j'écoute des livres audios. L'histoire était distrayante, juste ce qu'il faut d'épicée et drôle, avec le bon nombre de péripéties et de tensions. Bémol, j'ai trouvé la progression de l'histoire un peu longue et le 'slow burn' un peu trop slow à mon goût, avec peu de raisons de l'être finalement que les propres blocages que s'imposent les personnages eux-mêmes.

Le fait que les personnages aient respectivement 39 et 44 ans ne m'a pas dérangé le moins du monde, mais par contre, j'aurais aimé qu'ils agissent avec la maturité de leurs âges et de leurs expériences. Certains situations étaient un peu tirées par les cheveux et les réactions inappropriées.

Ceci dit, j'ai passé globalement un très bon moment.
