2.5? I hate writing bad reviews...

I received a copy of this book from the publisher via net galley.

Started out strong, but then seemed to suffer from an identity crisis. There was just too many different branches, and it didn't remain cohesive enough for me to want to continue on with the series. Yet, it wasn't a horrible book. Mostly I ended up trudging through it. The back story chapters did not end up where I thought they would, and in retrospect it was quite a lengthy way to get there. There was mystery in whodunnit, and I did not figure that one out.
