Incredibly disappointed that this fell flat for me. I was so excited about this - set in the Caribbean, enemies to lovers, food... It just didn't work. I will say, I loved the inclusion and rep within this story and felt that it was integrated well. However, everything else was lackluster. Enemies to lovers only works (for me imo) when we know why they hate each other. There was no clear cut answer as to why. Also, I didn't feel the attraction between Kieran and Cherisse AT ALL. They didn't make sense to me. No banter, no moving moments, and Cherisse was unlikable the entire time. I have high hopes for the other books in the series though.
