I wish Bethany would would face more danger. I know Michael says he doesn't see the point of putting a character you like in a life or death situation, but I am getting a bit bored with how easy everything is for her. I want her to have some struggles. I want someone to betray her and she can't fight back. I want her life to be on the line. I want to turn the page scared she might lose. While, yes, she did lose someone important in her life... the solution came too easily, and I just wanted more.

Love the girl power though. It's, as Michael says himself, not amazing literature, but it's a fun read, which is exactly what I'm looking for right now.
