I was excited for this book. I wasn't lucky enough to have cable growing up so I only caught episodes of All That here and there. I loved the Mighty Ducks franchise and totally forgot Thompson was in Heavy Weights, what an awfully 90s movie. I'd hoped for a funny memoir detailing his youth, his experience at All That and SNL, and the book somewhat delivers. It rambles quite a bit and could have used some more editing. Maybe it's better in audio, assuming he narrates it. He did deliver a lot of great stories of his personal and professional lives while keeping it classy. There's definitely name dropping but no damaging dirt. I really enjoyed pausing to deep dive in Youtube and revisit old skits.
