Mr. Perfect
by Aimee Nicole Walker
I really do appreciate the story telling ability of Aimee Nicole Walker. Seamless plot formation, exceptional pacing and her character development is so very well done. This is another engaging and enjoyable read in the Sinister In Savannah series and even though we are told early on who the bad guys are, there’s a couple of twists in the tale to keep things interesting.
Felix and Jude certainly do have a lot of layers to them. Felix is very prickly, loyal to and loved by those in his inner circle and believes in justice for all. He’s also very jaded in matters of the heart after having his heartbroken in college, 14 years ago by Jude who has now relocated to Savannah. With the chemistry between them still burning and all the baggage from the past still waiting to be unpacked, it’s a bit of a slow burn start but heat levels reach scorching once Felix knows he can believe and trust in Jude again. Add in some very interesting side characters and two very entertaining peacocks and you’re left with a fantastic read. I’m very much looking forward to the next instalment in the series.
