I will happily read a romance series out of order any day, but I'm glad that my friend insisted I revisit the first in the series. Anna is dealing with the sudden death of her husband and decides to follow through with their plan of sailing the Caribbean. After a drunken night, she meets Keane and everything changes. They have immediate chemistry in their banter, not to mention his Irish accent... It's irresistible. But the slow burn, will they won't they, is sheer perfection! When they do get together, it's steamy, but the romance takes a backseat to Anna's emotional growth and healing process. Personally that's what I enjoy in a book, but it might not be for everyone.
